Day 19 - Asking for Directions

Today's Tasks

1. Read the lesson context.
2. Listen to the audio clips several times until the sounds feel familiar. Do not repeat aloud—just listen and absorb.
3. Download the Anki deck and review it daily. It includes all the audio clips in today's lesson for efficient review. Review previous decks if prompted to do so.
4. Spend at least 30 minutes listening to native Russian audio. It doesn't matter if you don't understand it.

  Excuse me, could you tell me how to get to the nearest metro station?

  Конечно. Вам нужно идти прямо по этой улице около трёх кварталов.

  Sure. You need to go straight down this street for about three blocks.

  Прямо три квартала… а потом?

  Straight for three blocks... and then?

  Потом повернёте направо у большого банка. Станция будет сразу видна.

  Then turn right at the big bank. The station will be immediately visible.

  Спасибо большое. Я здесь плохо ориентируюсь, первый раз в этом районе.
