Day 10 - Rising Prices

Today's Tasks

1. Read the lesson context.
2. Listen to the audio clips several times until the sounds feel familiar. Do not repeat aloud—just listen and absorb.
3. Download the Anki deck and review it daily. It includes all the audio clips in today's lesson for efficient review. Review previous decks if prompted to do so.
4. Spend at least 30 minutes listening to native Russian audio. It doesn't matter if you don't understand it.

  Продукты дорожают, коммуналка растёт... Зарплаты так быстро не увеличиваются.

  Groceries are getting more expensive, utilities are rising... Salaries aren't increasing as fast.

  I see... Same story here. Everything is getting more expensive, and incomes stay the same.

  Приходится экономить. Уже не покупаю кофе по утрам, перешёл на чай дома.

  We have to economize. I stopped buying coffee in the mornings; I switched to tea at home.

  Вот-вот. И я вместо машины на метро езжу, бензин золотой стал.

  Exactly. I also take the metro instead of driving; gas costs a fortune now.
