Day 22 - Nervous to Ask Her Out

Today's Tasks

1. Read the lesson context.
2. Listen to the audio clips several times until the sounds feel familiar. Do not repeat aloud—just listen and absorb.
3. Download the Anki deck and review it daily. It includes all the audio clips in today's lesson for efficient review. Review previous decks if prompted to do so.
4. Spend at least 30 minutes listening to native Russian audio. It doesn't matter if you don't understand it.

  There's this girl at work I want to ask on a date, but I'm freaking out.

  Чего бояться-то? Подойди и позови в кино или на кофе.

  What's there to fear? Just go up and ask her to a movie or coffee.

  Боюсь отказа. Вдруг скажет «нет» и потом общаться неловко будет.

  I'm afraid of rejection. What if she says 'no' and then it’s awkward to talk afterward?
